Friend,

Voters are being held up in line to vote for 4, 5, even 7 hours at a time. Hundreds of calls to Georgia’s Voter Protection Hotline are going to voicemail. We are witnessing voter suppression at work.

The good news is that some counties, including Chatham and Muscogee, have extended voting hours until 9 p.m. So whether you’re waiting in line or waiting to see the results come in, I’m recommending a few artists who you can listen to, and who I’m truly grateful to have received support from in the last 24 hours:

Please make a donation to our Election Runoff Fund if you are able. This is not the first obstacle to democratic participation in Georgia’s election, and it certainly won’t be the last.

THANK YOU!

—Teresa
