Learn to Fish April 22; 5-7 p.m. Stop out to Rogers Lake Park and learn the basics with Fishing For All.
Yoga in the Park April 23; 5-6 p.m. Bring a yoga mat, blanket or towel...bring a friend too! Then relax and enjoy a free outdoor yoga session.
U of MN Raptor Center Program April 25; 12:45-1:45 p.m. Join us at Mendakota Park for a live raptor show! Please arrive and be seated at 12:45 p.m. so the show can start promptly at 1 p.m.
Kids Garage Sale April 26; 10 a.m.-Noon Reduce, reuse and repurpose when you shop for deals at this annual sale! Your purchases will support young entrepreneurs learning sales and money handling skills.

Name the Snowplow!
It's time to name two of the City's newest additions to its snowplow fleet! After all, a snowplow with out a name is just a snowplow.
Have an idea? Submit your snowplow name today! Deadline for nominations is Friday, May 2.
Names will be juried down to four finalists, and final voting will take place at the Touch-a-Truck event on Saturday, May 10 from 10 a.m.-Noon at Mendakota Park.

MSP Airport Noise Oversight Committee Spring Listening Session
April 23; 6 p.m. City Hall Council Chambers
The Metropolitan Airport Commission Community Relations Office sponsors quarterly Listening Sessions for residents to receive updates on the MSP Noise Oversight Committee (NOC) and its activities, to be briefed on MSP operational levels and procedures and to have an opportunity to provide comments and voice concerns on aircraft noise issues. During Listening Sessions, attendees are welcome to make comments or ask questions which will then be addressed in the meeting.

Dakota Co. Transportation Open House
Dakota County is hosting a second Delaware Ave. Reconstruction and Butler Avenue Trail and Sidewalk Improvement Open House Wednesday, April 23 at Two Rivers High School.
The meeting will run from 4:30-6:30 p.m. as an in-person public open house to collect feedback on the projects, which aim to add curb and gutter, add a multi-use trail, and improve drainage and utilities. There will not be a formal presentation, and project staff will be available to share information and learn from public input.

Help Select the New Ivy Hills Park Playground!
The City is replacing the Ivy Hills Park playground this summer. Four proposed designs are available, vote for your favorite today - survey closes April 27.

Note: all four playground options have the same estimated cost.
Results of the survey will be shared with the Parks and Recreation Commission and City Council, to help inform their decision on the playground design.
