In case you missed it — one of our team's favorite programs, Democracy Summer Fellows, is taking applicants, and we are excited to welcome a new batch of fellows this year!
If you know a high school or college-aged young person interested in applying and being part of Team Dean, share this link where they can sign up and learn more about the program >>
If you want to help us fund our upcoming fellows (it costs about $500-$1,000 per student), you can donate here and support our fellows >>
Check out Bill’s email below for more details on the program and why it matters!

Team, it’s Bill — I’m really excited that I get to be the one to send this email this year: our Democracy Summer Fellows program is starting up soon (applications are open now) and we need your help!
This 6-week program, started by Mad’s friend and colleague Jamie Raskin, embeds thousands of high school and college-aged young people on congressional campaigns where they learn the ins and outs of campaigns, organizing, and running for office.
The fellows are always incredible: passionate, engaged, eager to learn, driven to make the world better. I don’t know about you, but we need more of that in our politics right now, and I know our team is very excited to have fellows back in our office and training for the future.
So if you know someone who would be interested, send them this link to learn more and apply! We’d love to have them on Team Dean this summer.
If not, we’ve got another way for you to support this program! I want to make sure that cost is not a barrier for our team this year. It runs about $500-$1,000 for every student who participates, so only if you’re able, would you consider helping us train the next generation of Democratic organizers and leaders?
Support our Democracy Summer fellows here >>
We can’t wait to meet these new fellows and introduce them to you. Thank you for joining us in continuing this important program!
— Bill
