Hi friend,
Knowledge is power.
With that in mind we’ve created a quick quiz so that you can test how much you know about the global debt crisis and find out what you can do to help end it.
Did you know that 25 years ago campaigners managed to get huge amounts of debt cancelled for lower-income countries. But was it worth $13 billion or $130 billion? Take our quick quiz and test your knowledge:
a) $130 million ([link removed])
b) $13 billion ([link removed])
c) $130 billion ([link removed])
Right now, there are 54 countries experiencing a debt crisis. But this year is a Jubilee Year, when hundreds of thousands of people of all faiths and none are coming together to fight unjust debt.
And knowing the facts makes us stronger. Here’s that question again: How much debt was written off after the first Jubilee campaign?
a) $130 million ([link removed])
b) $13 billion ([link removed])
c) $130 billion ([link removed])
There are four more questions that can help you understand more about the origins of this current debt crisis, how it impacts people around the world and what we can do together to fight it in this Jubilee year.
We hope you enjoy the quiz and can use it to help spread the word about the campaign!
In solidarity,
Zak, Wiz, Eva and all at Debt Justice
