Women and girls in Myanmar need our help.
The devastating earthquake last month killed more than 3,600, injured 6,000 more, displaced millions of people, and destroyed dozens of healthcare facilities.
UNFPA has been on the ground offering women and girls Dignity Kits to help restore some normalcy for women and girls.
But more support is urgently needed. Even before the earthquake, over ten million people needed healthcare assistance. That number has skyrocketed since.
Your monthly support will help provide lifesaving aid to women and girls in Myanmar and beyond. Can you make an emergency donation today to provide relief to those in need?
Already, the generosity of donors like you has helped provide women in the hardest-hit areas with support.
UNFPA has distributed Dignity Kits to women in areas like Mandalay and Sagaing and is working with mobile health clinics to provide support to the most vulnerable populations, including pregnant women and newborn babies.

But with cuts in funding for foreign aid by the United States government, there are limitations to the help UNFPA can provide without support from donors like you.
UNFPA is working to deliver lifesaving services such as primary health care, maternal care, and mental health and psychosocial support for women and girls in severely affected areas. Your urgent support is needed to increase these efforts.
And here’s the thing: Oftentimes, it only takes a few days or weeks for the news media to stop covering an emergency like the earthquake in Myanmar. People turn away and focus on other things. But rebuilding from a disaster like this takes a long time.
That’s why we are asking you to make an emergency monthly donation to provide ongoing support to women and girls impacted by natural disasters like the earthquake in Myanmar.
Thank you for being there for women and girls,
USA for UNFPA
P.S. Not ready to give monthly? A one-time donation still makes a meaningful impact to women and girls who need it most.
