Folks:

We know that our public lands, waters, and wildlife are an important part of our identity, heritage, and future in New Mexico.

With Republicans’ growing attacks on public lands and their stewards, fighting to keep public lands in public hands has never been more important.

That’s why I am supporting Juan De Jesus Sanchez as our next State Land Commissioner.

Juan knows how to bring people together to deliver results. With oversight of 9 million acres of land and 13 million mineral acres, he’ll be a steadfast leader for our state, balancing the needs of our people and our economy while protecting our lands, water, and wildlife for future generations. There is no one I trust more than Juan to do this critical job.

Juan De Jesus Sanchez can win this seat.

I’ve known Juan for a long time, from his work with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, to the New Mexico Acequia Commission, to working with me to elect champions for conservation across the state.

I know he’ll put in the work to win this race — and he needs us to join him in that effort. That’s why I’m endorsing him today — early in this race, because we have no time to lose.

This will be a competitive race with the Republicans targeting the seat in 2026. But with a strong grassroots team, Juan can make it past the finish line. Please, send a donation of any amount to help elect Juan to the Land Office so we can fight for New Mexico and our Public Lands together: [[link removed]]
