My, my, my, John — a few days ago, the Trump Administration's senseless decisions regarding tariffs had left people in Florida (and across the country) uncertain and uneasy about the future.
Yet, instead of quieting those fears, Donald Trump decided to…play GOLF.
It's true: in an attempt to ignore his responsibility and hide away from the backlash, Trump ran home to our district to tee up at his golf club in West Palm Beach.
This is infuriating, and a slap in the face to the American people. But before I tell you more about how these tariffs will affect hardworking Americans, and why Donald Trump doesn't want to face the criticism, my team and I want to hear more about how this administration's policies have affected you. Will you take a minute or two to fill out a quick survey to share your experience?

John, I want to get to the root of what these tariffs mean for folks across our district: 1️⃣ The stock market, and the overall health of our economy, will decline.
2️⃣ The cost of everything — from the food at the grocery store to the cell phones in our pockets to the medicines in our cabinets — will skyrocket.
3️⃣ The burden will fall on every day Americans already struggling to pay rent, buy groceries, and afford their medical bills, all while Trump's wealthiest donors only get richer.
The bottom line here is that Donald Trump, and the rest of his administration, only care about making their wealthiest supporters even wealthier, regardless of what it costs you or your neighbor or your cashier at the store.
But my colleagues and I are fighting back. And in the meantime, staying connected with our constituents is key.
Since day one of the new administration, my team and I have heard from so many people about their concerns over the Trump Administration’s policies threatening our communities. My team and I want to hear your story now, John — will you share it today?
