John, I spent Saturday with two close friends of mine, Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez!
In the morning, I had the honor of speaking to tens of thousands of people in LA as a special guest on their Fighting Oligarchy Tour.
My message was loud and clear:
The power of people coming together far outweighs the power of any billionaire, any authoritarian, and any fascist.
Then, that evening, I had the privilege of bringing Bernie Sanders out on stage at Coachella!
Bernie said it best: “You can turn away and you can ignore what goes on, but if you do that, you do it at your own peril. We need you to stand up to fight for justice. To fight for economic justice, social justice, and racial justice.”
This is a movement, John.
A movement to not just defend what we’ve already fought for – like Social Security and Medicaid – but a movement to demand MORE: like Medicare for All, ending gun violence, and fighting the climate crisis.
I’m happy to be leading this movement alongside Bernie and AOC, but if we’re gonna beat this oligarch-and-billionaire-funded takeover, we need everyone in.
