I’m reaching out because our team is facing a critical fundraising deadline in just a few hours, and frankly, your grassroots support is essential in this fight. And listen, writing emails like these is certainly not my favorite part of the job. But at a moment when our freedoms, our public lands, our economy, and our democracy itself are under attack here in Montana, they’re absolutely necessary.

Look, I know that we’re in the middle of some challenging times right now. Prices are still rising, the government is being gutted by Elon Musk for his own benefit, and our access to affordable health care is in flux.
But as Executive Director, I’ve witnessed firsthand the power of this team. I’ve seen thousands of Montanans showing up, speaking out, and protesting for their freedom. And because of that grassroots enthusiasm, Montana Democrats have already achieved some notable victories in 2025, despite being in the minority: We’ve renewed Medicaid expansion, defeated multiple attempts to politicize our courts, and more.
I’m also not naive though. Over the coming weeks, months, and years, Republicans will continue to launch attack after attack on our fundamental freedoms and our way of life here in Montana. They will go after abortion rights. They will go after public education. And they will go after working families’ livelihoods.
That’s why I’m reaching out with a humble request: Will you help Montana Democrats build a grassroots movement to organize, fight back, and win by chipping in today?
