The government has once again shown that it is not serious about stopping crime and protecting victims. In yet another horrifying outcome of soft-on-crime policies, the [Connecticut Psychiatric Security Review Board]([link removed]) voted unanimously to release a cannibalistic killer, against the wishes of the victim’s family. This must end.
 
At the Connecticut Republican Party, we prioritize public safety—not radical ideology. We will pass laws that hold criminals accountable and ensure justice is served.
