John,
Trump is still pushing his tax cut for billionaires — even as climate
disasters grow more frequent, more deadly, and more expensive.
How is he paying for it, you ask? By gutting critical federal funding for
climate science and action^1 — and making us foot the bill instead.
Let’s be clear: The ones who should be paying up are the Big Oil companies
fueling the crisis. So this Tax Day, we’ve got one thing to say: Pay up,
ExxonMobil.

Will you share our post tagging @ExxonMobil to send them their tax bill?
They’ve dodged responsibility for decades. It’s time to make them pay
their fair share.

For decades, Exxon knew that burning fossil fuels would trigger a climate
catastrophe. Instead of sounding the alarm or helping the world transition
toward a greener and cleaner future, they’ve kept us in the dark and
enriched themselves at our expense. Now, they’re raking in record profits
and lobbying Congress to maintain this unjust status quo.
In just the past year, we’ve seen devastating wildfires rip through Los
Angeles and New York, catastrophic floods in Appalachia, and multiple
record-breaking heat waves scorch the entire country.
If Exxon and other fossil fuel companies paid what they owed for the
damage they’ve caused, Congress wouldn’t need to keep passing the buck to
everyday people with their tax cuts for billionaires.
We’ve sent letters. We’ve signed petitions. Now we’re turning up the
volume — and we need your voice to make it louder. Let’s flood Exxon’s
mentions on social media.
Share our post on social media tagging Exxon so they hear us loud and
clear.
