I've tried not to send a lot of emails lately. It's mostly because of the economic uncertainty I know a lot of you are feeling since Trump started with his tariffs.

But this one couldn't wait any longer, and I am asking you to contribute to the Democratic National Committee today if you are in a position to do so.

As you read this, Republicans in North Carolina are quite literally trying to use the courts they control to overthrow a state Supreme Court election decided by voters.

These elections are big deals. It wasn't long ago Elon Musk spent a ridiculous amount of money to try and win one in Wisconsin.

And if it wasn't for the daily swirl of chaos around the Trump administration, this would be national news. Not only does the North Carolina Supreme Court decide on issues of national importance like voting laws and gerrymandering in a swing state, but it is nothing less than a direct attack on our democratically decided elections.

The DNC is engaged in the fight to protect the Democratic victory Republicans are trying to steal, but they can't do it alone.

Please contribute to the Democratic National Committee. Your contribution will serve as a great rebuke to Trump and the Republican Party's attempt to overturn an election. This is such an important moment for our democracy.
