Through the Clean Energy Tax Credit Assistance Program (CETCAP), Washington is offering free legal, technical, and filing assistance to entities that may be able to take advantage of the new and expanded tax credits available for clean energy projects like fleet electrification, EV charging, wind, solar, geothermal projects, etc.
This session will provide tax-exempt organizations — including local governments, universities, nonprofits, and tribal entities — with expert guidance on leveraging expanded tax credits and how Elective Pay can work together with WA grant funding.
Participants will learn how to navigate Elective Pay options and prepare for upcoming filing deadlines — including the critical May 15 initial filing deadline for eligible property placed in service during the 2024 calendar year. Additionally, we’ll discuss strategies for planning ahead for future deadlines and projects to maximize funding opportunities.
Join us and bring your questions!
If you are unable to attend this webinar but think may be eligible and would like to take advantage of this free technical assistance to receive direct payments from the IRS for completing these projects, please complete this form and Lawyers for Good Government will contact you.
Washington CETCAP is supported with funding from Washington’s Climate Commitment Act. The CCA supports Washington’s climate action efforts by putting cap-and-invest dollars to work reducing climate pollution, creating jobs, and improving public health.
