Dear John,
Plastic is trashing the earth and poisoning us all. We need to turn off the tap for the sake of people and the planet, and we must stand up to polluting industries and companies.
Plastic Pollution Coalition is working tirelessly to hold polluters accountable by filing lawsuits against some of the biggest plastic bottled water companies in the world. We recently filed a complaint against Aquafina, owned by PepsiCo, and are making progress in ongoing lawsuits against the makers of FIJI Water and Evian, among others.
Makers of plastic bottled water that describe their products as “pure” and their business practices as “sustainable” are using deceptive, manipulative marketing tactics—because these statements are inherently untrue. The facts are: Plastic pollutes water and our bodies, plastic is unhealthy for people and the planet, and recycling cannot solve the plastic pollution crisis that the corporations producing bottled water helped create.
We will continue calling out deceptive practices, and your support helps us hold companies accountable for the plastic pollution crisis they’ve created. This is just one of the many ways we’re keeping polluters in check.
Thank you for standing with us.
Onward together,

Dianna Cohen Co-Founder & CEO Plastic Pollution Coalition
P.S. Please support us with a donation in honor of Earth Day so we can continue our work to hold polluters accountable. The future is in our hands. |
