Chuck Schumer just gave Donald Trump and Elon Musk everything they wanted, without a fight. Instead of uniting Senate Democrats to block an extremist budget that rips apart government programs piece by piece, Schumer caved and handed them the keys.
This isn’t strategy, it’s surrender. Schumer split off ten Democrats to help Trump pass a right-wing Continuing Resolution that accelerates the dismantling of our democracy. His excuse? That a shutdown would let Trump take over. But that’s already happening, on his watch.
We’ve reached the point where even Schumer’s own caucus knows he’s failed. 37 Democratic Senators voted against this disastrous deal. We only need 10 of them to call for a new leadership vote and 24 of them to replace him with someone who’ll actually fight back.
Every month Trump governs without real opposition is another month of normalized authoritarianism. Chuck Schumer doesn’t get that.
Demand new leadership before it’s too late. Schumer must step down or be removed immediately.
Musk and Trump are gutting the agencies we depend on. They’re weaponizing every federal department to enrich billionaires and crush dissent. And yet, Schumer waved the white flag.
