Friend,

When even some of Trump’s biggest supporters are raising the alarm about what he’s doing to the economy, you know things are serious.

Donald Trump’s reckless trade wars and economic brinksmanship are threatening to destabilize global markets — and guess who’s going to feel the pain first? Working families. People of color. Seniors on fixed incomes. Communities like ours.

Let me be clear: This isn’t just bad economics. It’s sabotage.

As Chair of the CBC, I’m standing up to these destructive policies and fighting for a fair, inclusive economy that works for all Americans. Will you support me and my colleagues so we can fight back and stop this trade war? [[link removed]]

The S&P 500 is extremely volatile, and even Trump’s own donors are begging him to stop the madness. Meanwhile, Republicans in Congress are doubling down, pushing tariffs and tax cuts for the rich, and gutting public programs like Medicaid — all while pretending it’s good for America.

As Chair of the CBC, I’m pushing back against disastrous trade policy and fighting for an economy that works for all of us, not just the wealthy.

But I need your help to keep up the fight. Donate whatever you can so the CBC and Democrats can fight back. [[link removed]]

We’ve seen what happens when Republicans run the economy like a casino. I won’t let them gamble with our future.

In solidarity,
Yvette D. Clarke
