As just revealed in The New York Times, our brand-new undercover investigation at Manning Beef, Los Angeles' last remaining cow slaughterhouse, has revealed footage so disturbing that even celebrated songwriter Diane Warren, who previously rescued two cows from this facility, said she couldn't bring herself to watch it.

What makes this even more urgent is that Manning Beef has been supplying meat to federal child nutrition programs, the largest of which is the National School Lunch Program. This facility has a long history of inhumane handling violations, including multiple USDA suspensions for egregious acts of inhumane handling and a trend of repetitive noncompliance with stunning requirements—and we filmed more violations during our investigation.
We've submitted comprehensive evidence to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office, pushing for 95 criminal animal cruelty counts. Each count carries a maximum fine of $20,000, but we need your support to ensure justice is served.
