Here’s why: Trump is attempting to make it more difficult and more burdensome for Americans to vote.

It’s an unconstitutional power grab.

This executive order will open the door for more voter suppression laws across the country.

To make matters worse, the GOP just passed the SAVE Act — which will add discriminatory barriers to registering to vote for women, LGBTQ+ people and other marginalized groups.

Trump and the GOP know that by blocking access to the ballot box, they can boost their chances of victory in the midterms.

Our democracy is strongest when everyone has the opportunity to make their voice heard. That’s why Kirsten is standing up to Trump.
