📣 Big News: Sister District Unveils 10-Year Blueprint & 2025-2026 Electoral Strategy |
|
We know the path to long-term change runs through the states. Over the next decade, we’re doubling down on our commitment to build progressive power where it matters most — state legislatures.
Our 10-Year Blueprint outlines strategic investments to flip red chambers, defend fragile Democratic majorities, and build inroads in challenging districts — setting the stage for Democratic majorities that will shape the 2031 redistricting process and usher in a new era of progressive leadership in state legislatures.
In 2025 and 2026, we’ll focus on key states with critical gubernatorial and federal races, maximizing our collective power to push back against the MAGA agenda. |

If we flip 23 state legislative seats across 5 states over the next two years, 42.5 million more people will live under Democratic majorities. That means majorities committed to expanding minimum wage, abortion access, voting rights, and more. |

Together, we kicked off the 2025-2026 electoral cycle with energy and a clear-eyed focus on the power of state legislatures.

🎬 It’s a Wrap: 2025 State Bridges Fundraisers |

We recently wrapped up our State Bridges fundraisers for 2025 — and thanks to the incredible generosity of this community, our partners are heading into the next year stronger than ever! Together, we raised over $135,000 this year to power long-term organizing and build progressive infrastructure in Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Virginia.
By supporting these grassroots organizations in key states, we’re not just preparing for one election — we’re building enduring power led by people of color and centering the voices of those most impacted by state policies. |
