With all the challenges and uncertainty these days coming from the Trump administration and the failure of Congressional Republicans to do their jobs, I am doing allI can to organize, mobilize, and lead the fight to help Democrats take back the House in 2026.
I am excited to let you know that I have been named one of four Vice Chairs for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) for the 2026 midterm elections. As I think you know, the DCCC is the House Democrats’ campaign arm that recruits candidates, raises funds, and helps organize races in congressional districts throughout the country. My job as Vice Chair is to focus on the South region, so I will be helping candidates and campaigns from Texas to Florida—and we have a lot of important races all across the South in 2026.
I’ll be on the frontlines of sharing our message: lowering our costs, advancing our progress, and protecting our freedom. I’m working with House Democrats, including Frontliners and Red to Blue candidates—who are running in the most competitive and toughest races in the country—to connect with as many voters as possible to ensure we win in 2026.
We know what’s at stake. We’ve seen what extreme House Republicans are willing to do—from undermining and trying to eliminate our democratic institutions to rolling back hard-won rights and freedoms. That’s why this work is so urgent, and why I’m asking you to get involved today.
