Last night, I stood up to Republican lies at the CNN Town Hall.

When GOP members of Congress defended Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and their terrible record, I spoke out.

When they tried to deceive American voters about the impacts of federal funding cuts on students and schools, I did not back down.

And when Republicans lied about the budget framework they just passed, I pushed back.

Now more than ever, we need strong leadership that is unafraid of speaking up and calling out lies. We cannot let Republicans deceive voters — we need every American to know what the GOP is trying to do: pass massive tax cuts for the wealthy to further enrich billionaires while leaving vulnerable Americans behind.
