“Move fast, break things” is a motto used a lot in the tech sector.
The idea is simple: prioritize speed over perfection. Get your product out quickly. If something breaks along the way, fix it later. The goal is rapid innovation, not careful planning.
That mindset may work great for Silicon Valley, but it costs lives when we’re talking about cuts to cancer research, VA health care and the suicide hotline, Medicare, and Social Security.
The bottom line is that Elon Musk’s DOGE is stealing from the American people to pay for tax breaks for billionaires like him, and circumventing Congress and the Constitution in the process.
I introduced the Delete DOGE Act yesterday to stop what he’s doing and prevent him from robbing the American people and our future even more — because I refuse to stand by and watch an irresponsible billionaire tech bro play games with people’s lives and livelihoods.
I’m committed to fighting as hard as I can to protect critical government services that so many people rely on, but I need your support:
Will you sign on to my petition to pass the Delete DOGE Act to show that there’s strong public support for this legislation? [[link removed]]
Thank you so much — I’ll keep you posted on what’s next.
-Sara
