John, Republicans are coming after this seat — hard.

One potential opponent has already gone to the press to announce his plans to run against me. And here’s the kicker: after losing two races in New Jersey, he packed his bags, moved to Virginia, and picked our district as his best shot at grabbing power.

Why here? Because he knows Donald Trump and Elon Musk are out for revenge against me. They're going to spend millions against me to push me out of this seat, and he’s counting on them to bankroll his campaign to get me out of Congress.

Let’s be clear: This guy doesn't care about Virginia’s 7th district. He didn’t move here to serve Virginians. He moved here to serve himself.

This is the kind of opponent we’re up against — not someone running to help our community but someone trying to ride a MAGA wave of dark money and vengeance into office. And they will spend millions trying to defeat us.

So we need to be ready. Now. To fight back against him and the MAGA machine that will run behind him. Because we cannot afford to lose this seat when the House majority is within reach.
