A few weeks ago, we sent around an email about how Trump and Elon’s cuts are already having real consequences here in Maine. The hits just keep coming. To name a few…
✖️ Trump just laid off the entire staff of the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) which helps lower income families pay for heating and cooling. The layoffs will undoubtedly affect thousands of families.
✖️ The U.S. Department of Agriculture is ending two national programs that help food banks and schools in Maine. Not only will this hurt Maine’s kids but it will also hurt the farmers who benefit from the programs!
So let’s get this straight, Trump and Elon are targetting….students, low-income families, and farmers. How is that curbing waste or making our country better?
