Thank you so much for joining me this weekend at our Hands Off Democracy rally. I’m so proud of everyone who showed up to take a stand against the recent actions of this Administration and show Trump that his abuses of power will not stand with us. 

It’s time to use our voices to stand up and tell Trump and Musk that we are not with them. The people are strong, and we will not quietly tolerate the undermining of our democracy. 

It’s clear the people are fed up. And we’re seeing victories! Thanks to hard working volunteers who knocked on doors and mobilized voters (including those from our very own Team Schakowsky!) Susan Crawford was elected to a critical Wisconsin Supreme Court seat!

This is a huge victory for Democrats — and a huge loss for Elon Musk, who spent $20 million dollars supporting Crawford’s conservative opponent. As Susan Crawford said in her victory speech, "Wisconsin stood up and said loudly that justice does not have a price. Our courts are not for sale."

When we fight, we win! Thank you!
