As a member of the King County Council, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside many local leaders. Few have impressed me as much as Jared Nieuwenhuis - and that’s why I’m proud to endorse his re-election to the Bellevue City Council.

Jared is a thoughtful, solutions-oriented leader who embraces growth, while prioritizing the needs of the neighborhoods and families that call Bellevue home. He has been a steadfast ally of law enforcement, has held the line for families overly burdened by taxes, actively supports our local Jewish community, and consistently comes up with thoughtful strategies to tackle Bellevue’s challenges, while also bringing new ideas to improve upon Bellevue’s successes.

I’ve worked closely with Jared on regional issues and witnessed his commitment firsthand. He listens to constituents, tackles tough challenges, and he’s always looking for innovative ways to improve the city budget, manage regional transportation and growth, reduce crime and so much more. With the challenges and opportunities ahead for our region, we need Jared’s proven leadership guiding Bellevue forward.

I have always been able to count on Jared as a steadfast ally against some of the bad ideas that come from Seattle’s far-left interest groups. He is a true leader that will be instrumental in shaping Bellevue’s future for the better!
