Friends, let’s ask ourselves: Who’s winning as Trump waffles on
his trade war? 

[1]❌  Farmers 

[2]❌  Union workers  

[3]❌  Middle class families 

[4]❌  Small business owners

[5]❌  Marylanders who don’t know from one minute to the next if they’ll be
able to afford groceries, gas, cars, clothes, and more

This president and his Republican enablers in Congress haven’t done a
single thing to bring down prices for working people. In fact, this tariff
debacle (even with a pause) is going to cost American families over $4,000
a year!

That’s why last week, I advocated for my bill, the Tariff Transparency
Act, to come to the Senate floor which would force the administration to
release detailed information about the impact of Trump’s tariffs on your
wallet. 

Unfortunately, Republicans banded together to BLOCK my bill. 

They’re acting like they have something to hide because they do: Working
and middle-class families WILL bear the brunt of this chaos, and they’re
just letting it happen. 

Republicans are catering to this president’s whims and hanging the rest of
us out to dry. 

You deserve leaders who put YOUR needs above Donald Trump’s. 

I won’t leave you to fend for yourself. I won’t let them ignore the
working people of Maryland.
