Dear Friend,

Every day, the Trump Administration continues to prove they are not working for you. They are trying to gut Medicare and Medicaid. They are breaking down Social Security by firing staff, shutting down offices, ending many by-phone appointments, and crashing the Social Security website. They are attacking workers by taking away their collective bargaining rights and pulling funding from the programs that help families put food on the table. In Congress, I am fighting back with legislation that helps our seniors and working families.

To make matters even worse, the Trump Administration has enacted blanket tariffs on all imported goods. Tariffs can be an effective tool to combat unfair trade practices when used strategically. However, President Trump’s decision to impose tariffs on all imported goods threatens American jobs, raises prices for consumers, and undermines our economic relationships with our allies. We must fight back. Let’s get into it. 

Gloucester City Town Hall 

Recently I hosted my 109th town hall with state and local officials in Gloucester City to listen to constituents’ concerns and lay out my plans for working families. Nearly 800 local residents were in attendance. Listening to and speaking with community members is one of the best parts of the job, and a cornerstone of our democracy. Thank you to everyone who joined me. Trump and Musk are ripping healthcare away from millions, threatening cuts to Medicare and Social Security, dismantling the Department of Education, and increasing costs for consumers. I am working in Congress to fight to protect your earned benefits of Social Security and Medicare and to lower costs for hard working American families.

  Labor Caucus Meeting

Rep. Norcross leads a Labor Caucus meeting with AFL-CIO President Liz Schuler to discuss how to fight back against the Trump Administration's reckless attacks on workers.  

Last week, I had the opportunity to welcome my friend and AFL-CIO President, Liz Schuler, to the Capitol to meet with the Labor Caucus. The best social program in the world is a good-paying job, and I look forward to continuing to work alongside the AFL-CIO to bring workers to the table and stand up to the Trump Administration's attacks on working families.
