U.S. Access Board Webinar: Outdoor Dining, Retail, and Community Spaces

With warm weather comes an increase in outdoor social activities including outdoor dining, retail, and community gatherings such as music festivals, street carnivals, parades and farmers markets. In this webinar on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 2:30 – 4:00 pm (ET), presenters will address the accessibility of outdoor dining, retail and other social gatherings that take place in the public right-of-way. The presentation will highlight provisions in the ADA Standards and Public Rights of Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG) that pertain to making these outdoor experiences accessible for people with disabilities.

The Great Plains ADA Center is one of 10 ADA Centers that provide ADA information and resources for free to businesses, state and local government, and individuals about their rights and responsibilities under the ADA.
