My name is Mark Lynch, and I am running for the U.S. Senate to represent our great state of South Carolina. As a lifelong resident, I understand the values and challenges that we face, and I am committed to fighting for them in Washington. I was born and raised in Spartanburg County, where I learned the importance of hard work, faith, and community. After attending Wade Hampton High School and the University of South Carolina, I joined my father’s small appliance store, Jeff Lynch Appliances. At the age of 25, I bought the business and, through dedication and perseverance, grew it into a multi-million-dollar enterprise that now employs over 100 South Carolinians. We’ve remained debt-free for 73 years, even navigating tough times like the 2008 recession and the COVID-19 pandemic, always putting our employees and customers first. But my life isn’t just about business. I’ve been blessed to be married to my wonderful wife Sarah for over 37 years. Together, we’ve raised two amazing children and now have four beautiful grandchildren who are the light of our lives. Faith is central to our family; I serve as a deacon at Burnsview Baptist Church and have dedicated much of my free time to spreading the gospel around the world, from Haiti to the Central African Republic. For the past 40 years, I’ve also worked to help men overcome addiction, guiding them towards freedom in Christ. South Carolina deserves a Senator in Washington who understands our values and will fight tirelessly for them. While I’ve been building businesses and serving my community, Lindsey Graham has been in Washington for over two decades, often aligning with the establishment rather than standing up for conservative principles. His support for foreign aid packages that send billions overseas while our Veterans struggle at home, and his past advocacy for immigration policies that many conservatives see as amnesty, are just a few examples of where he’s lost touch with the people he represents. It’s time for a change. It’s time for a senator who will put South Carolina first, who will fight for our borders, our jobs, and our freedoms - everything that Lindsey Graham has promised but not delivered for these past 22 years.
