Turns out one of the bigger 2020 election stories the left wanted to use to embarrass President Trump ... is not true!

"Former President George W. Bush’s spokesman vehemently denied an article from the New York Times that alleged he would not be voting for President Donald Trump in 2020. The NYT reported Saturday that a slew of high-profile Republicans do not plan on supporting Trump’s reelection. Included in that list was Bush, and the NYT cited 'people familiar with their thinking.'" (Daily Caller)

Desperate to hide the left's lack of enthusiasm for Joe Biden, the media had turned to rumors of a Republican break with President Trump.

The biggest item was President George W. Bush reportedly planning to not endorse President Trump for re-election. The New York Times made the story even bigger over the weekend, with a story about "high-profile Republicans" who wouldn't back President Trump -- including President Bush.

But President Bush's spokesman said the rumors aren't true. As the Daily Caller reported, "The NYT has not yet updated its article with [the spokesman]'s statement denying the report."

Get ready for Election Week this November? State officials warning it could take days to know the result.

"State election officials in key battleground states have recently warned that it may take days to count what they expect will be a surge of ballots sent by mail out of concern for safety amid the pandemic. A delayed tally in key states could keep news organizations from calling a winner on election night, and could see a host of court challenges in the days or even weeks to follow." (Lifezette)

The first election in the 2020 presidential race was a disaster for Democrats, with the results of the Iowa caucus unknown and un-finalized for weeks.

Now, with the potential for widespread mail-in voting across America, that could be how the general election goes too. Although Americans are used to results being declared on election night (and many stay up late to see the final tally), state officials are already beginning to warn they may not finalize the results for days.

And, as Lifezette reported, that could lead to "a host of court challenges in the days or even weeks to follow," with the potential to drag out the election even longer.

The "dynamics" of Biden's VP search have "quickly changed" with two new leading contenders.

"In the last week alone, two prospects who were initially not considered among the top tier contenders have suddenly burst into contention: Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and Florida Rep. Val Demings. Both have been tapped by the Biden campaign to act as leading surrogates amid the unrest and have seen their national media exposure intensify." (POLITICO)

The protests that have sprung up across America after the tragic death of George Floyd in Minnesota have been reported to have strongly influenced Joe Biden's VP choices.

As POLITICO reported, the "dynamics of Biden’s search have quickly changed."

He formed a committee to advise him on Vice President potentials, and he expected to receive their recommendation in early July and announce his choice in early August.

Now potentially at the top of the list are Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, mayor of Atlanta, and Congresswoman Val Demings, a Florida representative and former police chief.

Though he won't admit it, Joe Biden (and his party!) have moved to the far left.

"Former Vice President Joe Biden has taken a hard left stance on abortion access during the 2020 presidential campaign, in a major shift from his past positions on the issue." (Daily Caller)

Though Joe Biden has tried to position himself as a moderate, the evidence continues to show that Biden -- and his party -- have moved to the extreme left.

Here's a worthwhile, well-documented report from the Daily Caller on how his position has changed on abortion.
