 John, For the past 30 years, I’ve dedicated my life to keeping Californians safe. As Sheriff of Riverside County—one of the largest counties in the state—I’ve seen firsthand what happens when politicians in Sacramento put criminals ahead of law-abiding citizens. I didn’t stand by and let it happen. I fought back. I held criminals accountable, supported law enforcement, and made Riverside County’s 2.3 million residents safer. But being safe is just the start. Once our streets are secure, families must be able to find good jobs, start businesses, buy homes, and raise their kids in strong communities.
