Some elected officials can't take a joke....

Dear Fellow American,

Some elected officials can't take a joke.

And unfortunately, they think they have the power to do something about it. 

After the governor of California saw a video parody of a politician, he responded by saying the video should be "illegal." Then the California legislature fast-tracked and passed two bills, banning certain political speech.

The Babylon Bee and other plaintiffs filed a lawsuit against California officials because the bills censor free speech and punish people for posting certain political content online, including political memes and parodies of politicians. 

Where do you stand on the issue of free speech and humor?
