John, gun
violence is dropping faster in Baltimore than in any other major U.S.
city.

Let’s say that louder:

* Gun deaths are down 45% in the last six years.
* One Baltimore neighborhood — Brooklyn — went a record-setting 472 days
without a single homicide.

This is huge. This is what real progress looks like. And it didn’t happen
by accident.

It happened because young people, organizers, and gun violence prevention
advocates put in the work — in Maryland and across the country.

can today to help us continue building on this hard-won progress in
Baltimore in the next phase of our movement.

But here’s the thing: in this moment, under this administration, you can
bet Trump is going to try to take credit.

He’ll claim this progress as his own while actively dismantling the very
programs that made it possible.

Trump didn’t make this happen. We did.

After our historic second march, March For Our Lives organizers met with
over 70 members of Congress. We made noise. We made demands. And we got
results: The Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA).

The BSCA includes $250 million for community violence intervention
programs — the kind that have made real, measurable impact in cities like
Baltimore, Chicago, Philadelphia, and more.

And what’s Trump doing now? He’s axing damn near all the federal funding
the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act provides to address gun violence.

He wants to erase our wins. He wants to hand power right back to the gun
lobby.

We’ve got one thing to say to that: Not. On. Our. Watch.

If you’re with us, now’s the time to act.

expand community violence intervention programs nationwide.

Onwards,
