Lily Tang Williams Announces Her Campaign for New Hampshire’s Second Congressional District
Weare, NH – Lily Tang Williams, 2024 Republican Nominee for New Hampshire’s Second Congressional District, is ready to fight for the people again in 2026. In announcing her candidacy, Lily said:
“I am living the American dream. I have experienced firsthand the transformative power of freedom, opportunity, and hard work, which is why I am the ideal representative for the people of the 2nd district.”
Lily Tang Williams brings passion and a unique perspective to the forefront of New Hampshire and national politics. Her 2024 campaign debate video against incumbent Maggie Goodlander went viral, drawing a groundswell of support and earning her a rare endorsement from Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Her campaign garnered several other high-profile endorsements, including former New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, Protect Freedom PAC, and 53 members of the New Hampshire State Legislature.

About Lily Tang Williams
Literally born dirt-poor, Lily was raised in the People’s Republic of China during the chaos of Mao’s Cultural Revolution. She came to the U.S. legally at the age of 23 with only $100 in her pocket and a desire for freedom in her heart. Through hard work and the support of her new community, Lily overcame language, cultural, and financial barriers, ultimately earning a Master’s degree in Social Work and starting her own business.
Lily is living proof of the American Dream. She is a mother of three adult children—two of whom are veterans—a self-employed small businesswoman, and the 2024 Republican nominee for Congress in New Hampshire’s Second Congressional District.
