To Our Liberty Activists:

There are 858 Federal District Court and appeals judges, with over half appointed by Democrats.  That’s a ton of opportunity for big government activists to feed a frenzy by getting judges to claim President Donald Trump is “destroying the rule of law”.

It seems these activist judges are more than happy to push that frenzy, by making sweeping rulings, usually without due consideration of the merits. They issue temporary restraining orders directing the President to take actions the judges themselves favor, regardless of the actual laws.

In the past two months, 15 national injunctions have been issued by rogue judges against the Trump administration. In eight years, Obama only had 19 such injunctions in total.

Chief Judge James Boasberg of the D.C. District Court was lauded by the media and Democrats very prominently for ruling that President Trump had no authority to deport the alien enemies in the criminal gang known as Tren de Aragua. He did this again, without properly considering the merits of the case! 

Basically, Boasberg in this ruling, had appointed himself as president. Luckily, the Supreme Court vacated this extremist judge’s order.

The Supreme court’s ruling was 5-4, however. Very close. Congress must act now.  On March 19, I suggested that Congress could exclude from all federal courts’ jurisdictions, all core presidential Article II functions, including his role as Commander-In-Chief.

The Republican led House is working on Rep. Darrell Issa’s No Rogue Rulings Act, which would eliminate federal judges’ ability to issue national injunctions entirely. The House plans to vote on this plan very soon.

Something must be done. Attorney General Pan Bondi has called these nationwide injunctions a “constitutional crisis,” adding, “They’re popping up every single day, trying to control his executive power, trying to control where he believes our tax dollars should be allocated.”

At Americans for Limited Government, I’m going to keep a close eye on this situation and keep you appraised up to the minute. The Bellicose Boasberg isn’t finished yet.  Despite the Supreme Court telling him he was way out of line, he intends to pursue contempt of court for anyone who defied his illegal orders.  Now, what that is from Boasberg, is actual “destruction of the rule of law.”
