Here’s the situation, John. The legislative session is over, and Wes has won some important fights for Marylanders. Now, we have to turn our focus to our fundraising gap. We’ve been in a fundraising freeze for the past three months. To put it bluntly: We’re only able to fundraise for about 75% of the year. That’s a big obstacle for our next fight, since any future opponents might be able to build up their resources while our hands are tied. Right now, it’s really important to get our fundraising back on track. We’re so grateful for every contribution — and we don’t take them lightly.
