Patriot,

When the East German Stasi spied on the people in the 1980's, they would bug their homes and have agents in the attic, listening to their every word.

That's nothing compared to how the government spies on us today, where every electronic device is bugged, and AI algorithms can make use of the massive quantity of data in ways the Communists could never have imagined.

One way or another, the government tries to get access to every phone call, every text message, every email, every Internet browsing session of you and other innocent Americans.

And the government isn't just harvesting this information for no purpose. In 2021 alone, the FBI made more than 3 million queries to the database gathering this information under Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).

All of this is completely unconstitutional and grossly immoral. The government spies on us all: all day, every day. You and your family have no privacy from the government.

But last year, you and I came within ONE VOTE in the U.S. House of getting serious reforms on the government's warrantless mass surveillance program.

It was only because House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) flip-flopped on his prior opposition to warrantless surveillance and rammed the extension of FISA through with no meaningful reforms.

But now, you and I have the opportunity once again to rein in the mass surveillance once and for all.

Today, the House Judiciary Committee held their first hearing of the year on the continued pattern of the government's warrantless surveillance of American citizens. This was effectively the kick-off on the debate over FISA for this term.

The same surveillance that was weaponized against President Trump himself is still going on to this day.

And Patriot, I wish I could tell you the new administration located and removed every bad actor from every Deep State agency.

But that would be wishful thinking.

Human beings aren’t angels, Patriot. That’s why our founding fathers included the Fourth Amendment to protect you and me from government goons!

The Deep State fought HARD last year to renew Section 702 with no reform so they could continue spying on you. One Republican congressman even floated a cryptic warning about a "serious national security threat" setting off premature alarms in the hours leading up to the FISA vote.

And the Deep State will keep fighting to keep their grasp over the American people.

But NO administration should have the power to conduct warrantless surveillance of Americans, period.

With Mike Johnson still running the House, this will be a tough fight, but it is one we can win.

First, despite several Trump officials being grilled about the issue in their confirmation hearings, there is evidence some of them, including Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, want a warrant requirement passed into law.

Remember it was the office she now heads, the ODNI, that under Biden had to admit the FBI used Section 702 to gather information on American citizens more than 3 million times in 2021 alone.

Patriot, we are gearing up for a full-scale battle to restore the Fourth Amendment and end warrantless mass surveillance once and for all.

But we simply cannot do it without your help. Please make your most generous contribution today to help us fight this battle.

The truth is, I believe this is a fight for the very future of our Republic.

No government in the history of mankind – not even the Communist East German Stasi of yesteryear – has ever held the massive spying power our federal government holds over law-abiding U.S. citizens today. . .

And no government in world history that’s ever sought this power has even been able to avoid the temptation for abuse.

Once the “experts” in Washington, D.C. know how we live, it’s only a matter of time until they start trying to “fix” us by telling us what we can and can’t own, read, watch, think, listen to, and teach our kids and grandkids. . .

We’ve already had a taste of their authoritarianism with their Covid restrictions and mandates.

Of course, I know some people will say the Trump administration will be different. They just say, “trust us and everything will be OK.”
But this isn’t a question of how Trump or his administration will treat this issue. Bad laws require permanent solutions, and that means passing legislation to put the Surveillance State back in its constitutional box.

Even if this administration might not bring the power of warrantless surveillance to bear on law-abiding citizens, unless we rein that power in today, any future administration might do the same things – and worse – than the Biden regime did.

In fact, you can be certain when big-government statists get back into power, they will come after those who don’t toe their party line with a vengeance.

Last year, we came within one vote of getting the warrant requirement in the House.

Next year, we may be able to get it over the finish line. But it will take everything we've got, and we are counting on your support.

Because the Deep State is going to come with everything they've got, too.

Men aren’t angels. Neither are politicians, government bureaucrats, or AI algorithms.

What’s made our country the greatest and freest nation in human history is that our Founders created a constitution that’s limited the power and therefore the damage evil men can inflict.

Our Founders understood liberty cannot exist without privacy. As Benjamin Franklin stated, “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”

But today, our Constitution’s Fourth Amendment – which protects American citizens’ right to privacy from government – is hanging by nothing but a thread.

The protections you and I have against the actions of men holding the reins of our own government are dropping like flies.

You and I must take a stand.

But as they say, you can't save the world if you can't pay the rent.

The surveillance state apologists are going to do whatever they can to reauthorize their spying program quickly and likely quietly.

That’s why we must pull out all the stops using mail, email, Internet ads, and even targeted radio and TV ads if we can raise the resources.

But we can’t do any of this without you.

So won’t you please agree to your most generous gift of $200 right away?

Patriot, I know that’s a lot. If it’s too much, please give $100 or at least $50.

Like you, sometimes I feel like we’re watching the police state nightmare from George Orwell’s 1984 being built around us.

So won’t you please join me in shouting DOWN WITH BIG BROTHER before it’s too late – before the idea of American liberty is nothing more than a distant memory?

Please agree to your most generous gift of $200, $100, or at least $50 TODAY!

P.S. Section 702 of FISA – which allows the massive collection and surveillance of innocent Americans’ emails, texts, phone calls, and online chats without a warrant – is set to expire soon.

Last year, we came within one vote of getting a warrant requirement passed in the U.S. House.

This time around, you and I may be able to get it over the finish line. But it will take everything we've got, and we are counting on your support.

That’s why I’m counting on you to please make your most generous contribution of $200, $100, or at least $50 TODAY!
