John,

At Emerge New Mexico, we meet women and non-binary leaders where they are and train them to turn their passion for change into real impact.

Today, we’re continuing to highlight some of the Democratic leaders who will shape the future of our state when they graduate from our Signature Training Program in the fall and prepare to run for office (and win!) in 2026.

  • Sila Avcil is a first-generation citizen, eldest sister, political scientist, and activist dedicated to representation, equity, and justice.

  • Kat Isaacson is a mother, speech therapist, and entrepreneur focused on healthcare, employment, and equity issues.

  • Kristin Wood-Hegner is the proud mother of an Albuquerque Public Schools student, a former teacher, and a public safety professional.

Every one of our Signature Training Program participants are proof that when you invest in progressive leadership, you can build a better future for New Mexicans across our state. Will you please chip in today to help continue training the next generation of progressive leaders?
