Project PEACE Survey Arlington's Safe Homes and Safe Relationships Survey Everyone deserves to be safe at home and in their relationships. When someone in our community is not safe and is being hurt by their partner, there are resources to help. Project PEACE wants to know how these resources and supports are working for Arlingtonians. We hope you can share your experience. Take Survey These questions ask about your experience, or the experiences of people you know, and could bring up strong emotions. It is your choice how many, and which questions you answer. If you need support at any time, please call Doorways' 24/7 hotline at 703-237-0881. This survey was created by Project PEACE to understand how folks in the Arlington community have, or have not, accessed local support. This survey is confidential, and results will be analyzed by Project PEACE and their members to enhance and improve services for all. In the News We need to reframe gender violence as a broader societal issue "April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, but sexual violence is a pervasive problem all year long, impacting survivors and those who care about them. The statistics are alarming and illustrate that, without dedicated and sustained efforts, there is no end in sight. As a community, it is imperative that we reexamine the lens with which we view, prevent, and treat sexual assault and all gender-based violence. These are not simply 'women's issues' but rather broad societal ones." Read More Generative AI has accelerated the creation of sexually explicit deepfakes. What can be done? "Anyone can be a victim of a deepfake, but teens and young people are particularly vulnerable. If you’re a parent, talk to your kids about deepfakes and why creating and sharing them is harmful. Teach technology safety and make sure your children know that they can come to you for help if something happens to them. April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, so there is no time like the present to start these conversations." Read More Donate to Doorways Share This Email Share This Email Doorways | P.O.
