Celebrating the Role and Impact of School Nurses Everywhere

John, since 1972, National School Nurse Day has honored school nurses and aimed to foster a better understanding of their role.

The National Association of School Nurses (NASN) invites you to help raise awareness about the critical role of school nurses, the benefits of investing in school nursing services, and the importance of advocating for policies that ensure every child has access to a school nurse every day. We have developed a virtual toolkit to assist you in promoting School Nurse Day within your community. We greatly appreciate your support.

The toolkit features:

A poster to display at your school to celebrate you or your school nurse, the leader, optimizing student health, safety, and learning.
The National Proclamation to seek public recognition from local government officials to raise community awareness.

Sample social media messages, images, and frames to copy and share to honor all school nurses and their role in the health and education of children!
The School Nurse Day logo may be copied and used, too, and don't forget to tag us and use the hashtag #SND2025.
