On Saturday, I stood before over 100,000 Americans on the National Mall, united in our fight against the Trump-Musk administration’s relentless assault on our freedoms and communities.

Our message to the billionaire-funded far-right authoritarian regime was clear:

Hands OFF programs like Social Security and Medicare that working people have fought for and earned. Hands OFF our fellow Americans like our immigrant and LGBTQ+ neighbors. Hands OFF our fundamental rights.

Now is not the time to be silent. Silence is complacency, and we will not be complacent in the face of this assault on our democracy and our fellow Americans.

Now is the time for coming together. Now is the time for action.
