Thank you for signing up to volunteer!  And thank you for showing up.  I’ve seen #TeamLizzie members all over town recently—at the #HandsOff! Rally and town meetings and strategy meetings and all the places we need to be right now.  

And your participation gives me so much inspiration and so much optimism, even in these challenging days.  Especially in these challenging days.  Because the challenges we face are real—in the Congress, in the country, and in our community.  The volume of things coming at us can be overwhelming.  The things that are happening are overwhelming.  And exhausting.  And that is by design.

Which is why we have to focus on what we know to be true—that we can turn things around when we work together.  This campaign is proof of it.  And we have to keep focused on the things we need to do.  The things we have done before, and the new things we need to do now.

I’ll keep sharing my thoughts and plans through these emails.  Thanks for all you are doing to make it possible.
