During the 2024 Presidential Campaign, big promises were made:

• Inflation would be under control on day one.
• Grocery prices would be lower immediately.
• Stronger economic prosperity for hard-working Americans.

But today, the reality looks different. Inflation is higher, and we face a stock market crash the likes of which we haven’t seen since the last crash under the first Trump Administration.

Yet, here's what's different: this crash isn’t caused by a housing crisis or banking collapse.  No, this collapse was caused by the hubris of this Administration.  Objective economists predicted that sweeping tariffs with no strategy and arbitrary numbers would lead to a stock market collapse, higher inflation, and a weakening job market.  And after the joke titled “Liberation Day” we immediately saw the stock market collapse.

The Housing and Banking institutions were labeled 'too big to fail.' At Country First, we believe something even more important: The American people are too big to fail.

So why is this Administration jeopardizing the economic stability of hard-working families.  Why are they jeopardizing the retirement savings of our seniors.

Democracies weaken when families see their economic security crumble. Democracies falter when leaders ignore economic reality, pursuing policies every objective economist warned would drive up prices and crash markets.

Country First is committed to shining a light on truth and holding our leaders accountable. Strengthening democracy isn't easy, but your voice matters now more than ever.

This past weekend we saw millions of people engage in civil protests. This matters. 

When more and more citizens of good will use their voice to make an impact our leaders take notice. When more and more people participate in civil protests, our leaders take notice. When more and more people question their leaders, demand town halls, call their offices, our leaders take notice.  When all these things grow, that’s called a movement.  Movements matter and Movements change things.

Thank you for being a part of the Country First Movement.  And the louder our voices, the stronger our Movement becomes—and together, we will prevail because the American People are too big to Fail!
