Thank you all for your resistance efforts this past week! We had a fantastic turnout at our "Hands Off!" rally/protest in Lexington yesterday. Altogether we estimate about 1500 people showed up! We thank all the speakers, musicians, and co-hosts (Progress Kentucky's Indivisible Task Force, Gathering for Democracy, 50501 Kentucky, Peaceful Bluegrass Resistance, and Kentucky 120 United - AFT). We thank all of you for showing up and speaking out!

* NATIONAL: MONDAYS AT MITCH'S - APRIL 7TH
Join Peaceful Bluegrass Resistance for a protest at Mitch McConnell’s Local Office (771 Corporate Dr, Lexington, KY) from 7:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m.
* NATIONAL: UK CAMPUS WALK - APRIL 10TH
Join Peaceful Bluegrass Resistance for a campus walk in solidarity with international students. Meet at 11 a.m. at the Wildcat statue across from Memorial Coliseum.
* NATIONAL: RUSH HOUR PROTEST - APRIL 10TH
Join Peaceful Bluegrass Resistance for a rush hour protest from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the intersection of Nicholasville Road and Reynolds Road.
* LOCAL: FAYETTE DEMS REORG 2025 - INFO SESSION - APRIL 10TH
Reorg is where Democrats elect the leadership of the Fayette County Democratic Party (FCDP), and build out its Executive Committee. During this process they also elect delegates to the State Convention. You can learn more abut reorganization here: [link removed]. You can attend online or in person at the FCDP headquarters (431 S. Broadway, Ste. 232 in Lexington). The meeting starts at 7 p.m. Please arrive by 6:30 p.m. if attending in-person. RSVP and more details on Mobilize ([link removed]) .
* NATIONAL: BGAA ZOOM WITH EZRA LEVIN! - APRIL 10TH
Ezra Levin, co-founder of national Indivisible, will be meeting with BGAA via Zoom on Thursday, April 10th. More details to follow in a separate email!
* NATIONAL: AFTERNOON TEA PROTEST - APRIL 12TH
Join Peaceful Bluegrass Resistance for a protest from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the intersection of Sir Barton Way and Man O'War Blvd.
* HANDS OFF! - POSTPONED EVENTS - APRIL 12TH
Several "Hands Off!" protests throughout Kentucky were rescheduled from April 5th to April 12th due to weather. If you missed the April 5th protests, you have an opportunity to attend the rescheduled events.
