John,

Our long-running Adopt-a-Wildlife Acre program has once again secured a potential deal that would allow us to restore and reconnect critical habitat areas that at-risk species depend on.

Years of hard work have given us a small window to give land back to bighorn sheep, bears, wolves, sage grouse, bison, and much more.

Please make a gift today to help provide land back to at-risk species. National Wildlife Federation’s Adopt-a-Wildlife Acre program negotiates with willing ranchers to convert public grazing lands into conflict-free natural habitat.

This year has been a particularly rough uphill climb for wildlife conservation. We’ve seen the current administration using the current COVID-19 pandemic as an excuse to dismantle long held environmental protections.

Our Adopt-a-Wildlife Acre program makes a real and long-lasting difference. It has become one of the most unique and effective wildlife conservation programs in America, and with good reason: It addresses the conflict between ranchers and wildlife, voluntarily, fairly, and without politics. That ensures native wildlife are safer from potential diseases and keeps livestock away from predator attacks.

We need to raise $50,000 by June 14th to reach this year’s goal. The deadline may be tight, but we have the opportunity to potentially acquire more acres for wildlife than ever before with a negotiated price of roughly $5.00 an acre. That means just $50 will help protect TEN acres of land and create much needed safer habitat sanctuaries for at-risk wildlife.

Please donate anything you can to support our Adopt-a-Wildlife Acre campaign today and help wildlife in need.

What began as a small program retiring a few acres here and there has grown into a force of National Wildlife Federation members and supporters investing over $5 million towards grazing retirements. The program has secured more than 1.5 million acres of vital habitat for wildlife such as grizzly bears, wolves, bison, and bighorn sheep since its inception.

With your help, we’ll be able to further that work in a way like never before.

Please help us meet this tight deadline. Give now!

With gratitude,

Dirk Sellers
