Social Security is one of the great promises of this country. Americans work their whole lives, pay into the system, and rightfully expect the benefits they’ve earned. But right now, that promise is under attack — by none other than Elon Musk.

Musk has forced his way into the Social Security Administration, and the results have been catastrophic. Since his DOGE-backed cronies took control, we’ve seen website crashes, phone line backups, and millions of Americans unable to access the benefits they rely on to live. In just the last ten days, the SSA website has gone down multiple times, blocking seniors, disabled Americans, and hardworking people from their accounts.

And for what? To line the pockets of a billionaire who can’t even keep his own car company afloat? Elon Musk wasn’t elected to anything, but he’s playing games with a system that people depend on to survive.
