My opponent and Virginia’s Republican leadership are doubling down on their support for Donald Trump — and his attacks on Virginians and our economy. I want to make one thing clear amidst the chaos happening: this is really bad for Virginia. People are hurting, and they are counting on their leaders to step up and speak out. Because Virginia deserves better.

All across the board, Virginians are already feeling the sting of Trump’s misguided policy and leadership. His reckless tariffs, his attacks on Virginia’s economy, and the firing of tens of thousands of federal workers who call our Commonwealth home have left families and Virginians uncertain about their future. It’s really heartbreaking.

As I’ve traveled across the Commonwealth, I’ve heard directly from Virginians who are worried about the fallout from these policies. They’re scared. They’re hurting. And they want change.
