Hi Friend,

Our Moms Next Door program is growing—and we want you to be a part of it!

[ [link removed] ]>> Make sure you sign up for Moms Next Door!

Last month, MomsRising members from across the nation joined one another
and MomsRising staff members for our first Moms Next Door Monthly
Community Zoom.

Together, we took a pulse check on how our community is feeling in this
moment. We heard about all the ways MomsRising members like to engage with
their friends, family, and communities. We discussed how community and
collective action are the antidote to despair. And we affirmed that
building power in our communities together is needed more than ever.

What is Moms Next Door? We’ve been feeling all the feels—from stress to
anxiety, to anger and confusion. And collectively, we’re NOT feeling
enough hope, joy, and connection. So that’s where Moms Next Door comes in.

Moms Next Door is a program born out of MomsRising members’ own desires to
connect locally, to take action together, to keep learning, and to build
communities that we can depend on when times get tough. So what does this
look like in action?

* The Moms Next Door Dispatch: Every month, we’ll send out the Moms Next
Door Dispatch—a monthly toolkit sent directly to your inbox to provide
you and your local community with ideas on how to effectively organize
together and take action.

* A Monthly Zoom Workshop: We will also host a monthly community Zoom
workshop, focused on a new topic each month, where we can learn from
one another, share tools and tips, and find joy and connection through
being in community.

* Sneak preview: In next month’s session, we will discuss how moms
are the original community organizers. We will be uncovering many
of the ways that you already hold the knowledge needed to bring
your community together around key issues, as well as diving into
ways we can apply your skills to making change for the future.

Together, we’re rising and strengthening our communities by taking care of
one another, learning together, and organizing to take action. We want you
to be a part of it!

This is a no pressure program. We know you’re busy. So, Moms Next Door is
what you and your community make of it. Think of it as a learning space,
an action space, a reflection space, or a space that finds new purpose
each month, depending on what you and your community need. Ultimately, we
want Moms Next Door to be a home for joy and connection.
