From day one, Trump, Musk, and their cronies have been pushing the limits of their power, trying to cut crucial services and shut down agencies that Congress has already funded – all to enrich the 1% at the expense of everyday Americans.
Trump’s tariffs could cost the average American household thousands of dollars more each year and potentially trigger a global recession.
Our Constitution gives Congress the power to regulate trade – and we need to make it clear they have an obligation to step in, use their power, and put We The People first.
But instead, too many members of the President’s party are afraid to cross him, no matter how many Americans their inaction hurts. Congressional Republicans are reportedly “terrified” of the President – and want to give him “several months” to implement his destructive tariffs. [1]
Let’s remind them: they work for us, not for Trump’s political agenda. Everyday Americans can’t afford to wait several months – we need action NOW.
